Example project telescopic boom

For reasons of space, a hydraulic swivel drive was selected as the drive for swiveling a telescopic boom to the side. In collaboration with the manufacturer HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH from Waechtersbach-Aufenau, a drive model was selected that met the required requirements for force and angle of rotation.
To do this, the manufacturer needs to specify the wavelength, measured from the flange surface of the drive, the length of the gearing and the minimum distance between the gearing and the flange surface. The nominal diameter of the shaft and the gearing was determined in advance when selecting the drive.
